LHS HelpDesk teaches iPad class for Lynnfield Senior Center Members
On Wednesday February 7th, members of the Lynnfield Senior Center braved the storm to attend an iPad class taught by the LHS HelpDesk students. Joe Fabrizio presented a basic overview of the iPad. Following the presentation, the students worked one on one with the seniors addressing their individual needs such as sharing pictures, Facebook, Skyping, email and management of apps. As a group, the teens and senior citizens talked about online safety, banking online, social media, and icloud storage. This is just the beginning. The next class will feature more in depth coverage of iPad use, management, and will be driven directly by the seniors’ needs.
