Think Board Visits LHS
On Tuesday June 7th, LHS was fortunate to have Hanson Grant and Jack McCarthy from Think Board visit and talk to the students about entrepreneurship and the process of starting your own business.
Ideas they they highlighted were:
An Idea a Day – write down one idea for a business every day
Take Action – take your ideas and really work hard on developing them
Start Young – there are so many funding options/competitions for young people.
Do Everything Yourself First – website, sales, finance, marketing – learn every aspect first so you know how it all works
Staffing a start up – start with friends and family and move to outsourcing
Love What You do – be passionate about your work and pursue what you love to do
