Introducing Dana Landry
This week, we welcome Dana Landry into the Lynnfield High School Student Helpdesk. Dana is a sophomore at Lynnfield High School, and is heavily involved in theater at the school. In her free time, she enjoys playing video games, listening to ‘90s music, and cooking. She is also an avid consumer of bad romantic comedies.
What is her background?
Dana is the youngest of three siblings, with her brother and sister both in college at Holy Cross and Providence respectively. She joined helpdesk due to her interest in technology and love of programming, figuring it was a good way to expand her knowledge.
What does she want to learn?
Dana hopes to learn more about different technologies and their uses during her time here at the Helpdesk. She wants to get a better understanding of various programs and be able to put them to use. As an aspiring programmer, this would be a necessity.
What does she want to do?
In the future, Dana hopes to be a programmer, as she already enjoys it. She is not overly strong in any one area, but she hopes to become more proficient in Google services during her time here.
PC or Mac?
Dana prefers the PC over the Mac. She doesn’t like that there are programs that she is familiar with that do not work on a Mac. She also doesn’t particularly like Apple as a company.
