Google Classroom – An In Depth Guide by Matt Parziale
Google Classroom is a great new tool for teachers and students to connect and have an elevated learning expirence. Although it is still in its early stages, Classroom is very feature filled and useful for K12 classroom environments. First thing to know about Google Classroom is you need an education account to access it (e.g parzialema@lynnfield.k12.ma.us). When you log in for the first time you need to chose if you want your account to be a “Teacher” or “Student”. Choose accordingly. Once set to a teacher, you can create a class and add students to it.
Here is the link to an awesome blog post by Jonathan Wylie. He includes detailed instructions on how to use Classroom and includes videos, screenshots, and other useful graphics.
Thanks, Matthew, for the classroom tutorial.
Thanks, too, for coming into my class to walk us through reflector and mirroring.
